Voor zulk soort dingen moet je helemaal geen troep installeren op je PC. Je kunt een record aan je hosts bestand toevoegen, het hosts bestand is (ongeveer) hier te vinden:

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

Je voegt aan dit bestand een record toe, en vervolgens zal de opgegeven domeinnaam worden doorgesluisd naar het opgegeven adres, bijvoorbeeld:

127.0.0.1 google.nl

Zorgt ervoor dat google.nl wordt doorgelinkt naar je localhost.

Je kunt je hosts bestand zien als de eerste DNS waar je PC in kijkt, hierdoor kun je alle domeinnamen in dat bestand ergens anders naartoe adresseren.

Natuurlijk werkt dat wel. Wat werkt er niet aan, misschien een goed begin om dat eens te vertellen?

google.nl hyves.nl

Maar als ik naar hyves.nl, en ik doe F5/ control F5, dan laad ie gewoon de pagina van Hyves, en niet van Google...

Ik heb hem nog niet opnieuw opgestart.

Ik heb Windows 7.

En het host bestand werkt wel, daarmee kan je verder ook test domeinen maken voor je lokale websites.

Bij mij staat dat in de router, ik kan daar IP`s trefwoorden en zelfs alle .com sites blokken.

@larsisgoed: Nee, je hoeft niet te rebooten.

Dat het zo niet werkt is logisch. Je kunt niet doorlinken naar een domeinnaam, je moet doorlinken naar een adres, een IP dus.

Bboy, dan moet je alleen nog die http:// weghalen... Anders kan je er met https:// nog altijd opkomen, en volgens mij pakt windows dit nieteens... Hoe dan ook, je zult het dus zo moeten doen: 127.0.0.1 site.nl. Lees ook dit: Wikipedia: Hosts (file)

Bij mij werkt het nu.
Ik heb gewoon het IP gebruikt van google.nl.

En je moet voor alle acties een maken dus:
